Skills and attention spans vary, children may register for two levels at
the same time.

Best Friends Forever
Saturday, February 13 at 2 PM
Invite your best friend or friends to the Library for hot cocoa, cookies
and a craft.
Celebrate Presidents Day Monday, February 15 at 2 PM
Join us to celebrate presidential birthdays by creating a enormous
display cake, crafting, coloring, eating cake and puzzling out facts. An
interactive movie with quiz questions from the Animated Heroes series will
be shown as well.
Seuss Day Tuesday, March 2 at 4 PM
Create covers for your favorite Seuss book and your own Dr. Seuss hat.
Spring Fling Saturday, March 27 at 2 PM
Paint yourself a bunny face, join in egg ‘walk’ races, hunt for eggs and
more. Weather permitting, this program will be held outside.
Catch Some Rays Saturday, April 10 at 2 PM
Make a sun catcher or CD mobile from beads, compact discs and more.
Mother May I Make You A Craft Saturday, May 8 at 2 PM
Join our staff in making a pretty and pretty useful gift for mom’s
special day. Dads, please let staff know when registering if kids need to
make more than one gift.
Spring Breakers at the
Library April 5-9, 2010
Get in touch with nature, develop art skills, make creative crafts and
play games for fun and learning. Events will be held throughout the week.
Ask at the Youth Services Desk for more details.
Early Dismissal Club
Fridays: February 12 and 26, March 26, & May 14
Join us for movies, games, crafts and other fun activities on early
dismissal days. Noon dismissal days will have board games, drawing, clay
modeling, art crafts & movies.
Board games will be available on 2 PM dismissal days.
Please register for events

Staff will contact you to remind you a day or two prior to the event.
Reminder: Lyons School District 103 textbooks are available at the
Library for student use. Students must present a valid library card in good
standing and may use up to two items
at a time. Textbooks must be used in
the Library and time may be limited if other
students are waiting.
