From Ancient Persia to Modern Iran Wednesday, February 17 at 7 PM
A slide show & lecture by Bill Helmuth on the marvels of Persia to the reality of modern Iran.


Beat the Unemployment Blues Wednesday, February 24 at 7 PM
Shirley Moore will present techniques on resume writing, networking and interviewing.


Introductory Yoga Class Wednesday, March 3 at 7 PM
A basic introduction to yoga. This program is adults and teens.


Diabetes Saturday, March 13 at 1 PM
Learn ways to lower glucose and keep it down, nutritional suggestions and lifestyle tips.


Irish Music Wednesday, March 17 at 7 PM
Phil Passen will play traditional Irish music ranging from beautiful slow airs to rousing
reels and jigs on a Hammered Dulcimer.


Illinois & Michigan Canal: Past & Present Wednesday, April 7 at 7 PM
David Clark will explore the construction of the canal and its eventual replacement by newer canals, railroads and the interstate highway system.


Alaska— America’s Last Frontier Wednesday, April 21 at 7 PM
Doug Dvorak presents a lecture and photo essay on Anchorage, Fairbanks, Denali National Park, Mt. McKinley and other points of interest in the Alaskan Wilderness.


Treasures of the Orient Wednesday, May 5 at 7 PM
Sonia Lawrentz gives a lecture and slide presentation featuring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, Macau and Cheung Chau.


Adult Arts & Crafts Club Winter Gathering Saturday, May 22 at 2 PM
Join the club to create a one-of-a-kind jewelry holder from natural materials. The jewelry holder is suitable for necklaces, bracelets and rings. An example is on display in the library. Don’t forget to bring craft ideas and instructions to share with club members. Light refreshments will be served.

Instructions in "surfing the 'Net" will be offered the third Monday of each month at 7 pm.
E-mail Basics
Instruction in setting up and using an e-mail account will be offered every Wednesday evening.
No appointment is necessary.
